| This weekend I watched many episodes of "Man vs. Wild." This guy named Bear Grylls is the manliest man I've ever seen. C'mon, who else can eat meat from a dead zebra in order to survive? He's crazy. Simply crazy.
Here is a clip of him eating the zebra: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRKpnkX99z0&mode=related&search= |

| We just don't say it enough.

| I'm disappointed, but...
My heart will go on... Like they say, "There's always next year." SIGH.

| It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just TWO weeks away. Certainly, the 'holiday' vibe has not struck yet - it's too darn warm in Southern California. But, I can't wait to eat all the good food that this time of year brings. One of the most enjoyable times of the year for me (as I've grown older) is Halloween. Not because I love the ghosts, devils, and goblins, but you get to be creative and dress up for one day out of the year and become another character. A childhood memory I have is when my brother painted my face with Crayola markers as, "The Ultimate Warrior." Although, I was adamant about being a makeshift ghost (you know, the white sheet holes cut out). Trick-or-treating around my house was never that exciting because I live in an older part of San Diego (aka. "The Ghetto"). It sucked getting pennies, raisins, Good and Plenty, and those black and orange wrapped taffy things.
Here's my costume from last year (this one was fun):
This year I was a hunter-hillbilly that was attacked by a tiger-bear.
Halloween is fun. |
